Sawyer is an mtb 29er it was designed by Gary Fisher and based on old mountain cruisers and klunkers first converted from Schwinn cruisers and then emulated by Joe Breeze, Cook Bros, Pro Cruiser, Trailmaster - (Koski, Cove, et all) and countless others. Retrotecs, Willets, Oddity, Black Sheep, etc are all inspired by those early mountain cruisers and klunkers. If you overlay the geo with modern gravel bikes it's very similar.
